Custom Insulation launched the Custom ThermoSlot product range for the UK construction industry on 24th September. It’s been well received, generating a healthy stream of enquiries, all of which have turned into Purchase Orders.

Our slotted board insulation products are available as a CE-marked PIR solution tested for external use, or a Phenolic option suitable for both internal and external applications.

As part of ramping up to the commercial launch, we completed a pilot project for ICS Insulation & Cladding Services for a Secondary School in Harlow, Essex. Onsite feedback was very positive:

Slotted board insulation enhances thermal performance, protects against environmental elements, and meets stringent building regulations, offering a comprehensive solution for HVAC systems and mechanical services. Two options are available: a CE-marked PIR solution tested for external use only, and a Phenolic option suitable for both internal and external applications.

Throughout our pre-launch planning we focused on 3 things:

1. Time: Deliver finished products from order to dispatch within industry timeframes which are designed for quick and efficient on-site installation.
2. Quality: Deliver products to industry quality standards by investing in next-generation slotting machinery, completing extensive production test runs and supplying finished products to pilot projects (we consistently received excellent feedback).
3. Cost: Align prices to market norms to offer competitive rates across the product range.
